WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe, from a biblical point of view, that all truth leads to the true knowledge of the true God. We also believe that God releases truth as we are able to understand it, therefore truth is progressive. Truth is a “movement.” We believe that truth is absolute and that our human understanding of truth is partial, incomplete, subject to error. We believe that God wants us to know the truth and to set us free from the lies.

We believe Jesus Christ is the only person who is able to give us the truth about the true character of God. We believe that once Lucifer rebelled against God he defamed God’s character and brought it into doubt throughout the entire universe. We believe that in coming to the earth Jesus Christ was giving not only humans, but the entire universe, a true revelation of what God is really like. Only He was able to reveal God because He Himself was God – “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1).

This understanding is given by John the Baptist: “He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all. And what He has seen and heard, that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony. He who has received His testimony has certified that God is true. For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand.  (John 3:31-35).

This is why Jesus is called the Faithful and true Witness: ““And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God” (Revelation 3:14).

We believe the Tree of Life is a symbol of God’s kingdom of righteousness. It symbolizes in particular His character as a life-giving Creator, as He is “the living God.” We believe the Tree of Life represents in particular God’s moral law of agape love: unconditional, impartial, non-violent, freedom-giving love.

We believe the Tree of Life never intersects with the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil; it stands apart and alone and has nothing in common with the principles represented by this other Tree. This is why Paul states in the Book of Hebrews that Jesus “loved righteousness (Tree of Life) and hated iniquity (Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil) (Hebrews 1:9).

Jesus has been the only being to fully reveal the principles of the Tree of Life.

We believe that just like the Tree of Life represents everything related to God’s kingdom, so the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil represents everything that is related to Satan’s government of Good and Evil.

We believe this Tree represents the fact that Satan is the being who is responsible for death, a fact which is explained in Hebrews 2:14-15: “Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,  and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”

We believe that the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil is the earthly manifestation of the principles which Satan devised as a result of  his rebellion against God’s eternal law of agape love. In a nutshell (please read the books in order to see our reasoning from the Bible) Satan’s Tree represents his moral law, the moral law of Good and Evil (please read also the thesis on the Magic Flute for confirmation from historical sources).

Good and Evil are synonymous with reward and punishment, the carrot and the stick, the crook and the flail.

The moral law of good and evil is a moral law that instead of operating by agape love operates by everything that is the opposite of God’s moral law of agape love. Thus it is a moral law of conditions, partial treatment toward others, it uses force and thus it is violent, and as such it removes freedom and renders us slaves.

By revealing that the true God is not in any way whatsoever involved with the principle of reward and punishment, Jesus sets us free from its condemnation and punishment. We are then translated into God’s marvellous light:

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son” (Colossians 1:12-13).

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light,” (1 Peter 2:9).

We believe agape love is God’s eternal moral law of the universe. It is the law of unconditional love, impartial love (applies to all beings, without conditions). It is the law of liberty (James 1:25, 2:12). Agape love is God’s righteousness and it is the underlying principle behind God’s 10 Commandments. It is the only code of ethics whereby co-existence between all intelligent creatures is possible. Agape love is revealed throughout the Bible, but it is revealed in particular through Jesus Christ’s life, His teaching and death. Christ loved all unconditionally and impartially. He never used force or violence (some will say He did so at the cleansing of the temple, but upon close scrutiny that view does not hold. Furthermore, Isaiah 53:9 states that “He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth.”) Jesus always “drew” people to Himself through love, and never used punishment of any kind in order to correct, teach, or instruct. As He stated: “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself,” (John 12: 32) Agape love is also explained by the apostle Paul’s famous chapter on love, 1 Corinthians 13. It is also revealed through Jesus’ directive to love one’s enemies in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:44, Luke 6:27, 35). Agape love keeps no record of wrongs, which means it holds nothing against anyone. Please the video below for a powerful example of agape love.

Iniquity is what was found in Lucifer (Ezekiel 28:15) when he rebelled against God’s perfect law of agape love. Please read chapter 6, “Iniquity” in God on Trial: Have We Been Lied To? Is God a Killer?

Iniquity is what is represented by the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. It is what all the lower case gods teach: the moral law of reward and punishment.

Our third book, The Wrath of God Unmasked, explains biblically what this biblical term really means. You may also watch a condensed version in video form, which is an ongoing project. Please stay tuned as we are always adding new episodes.
