God is Love
“… let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows love. He who does not love does not know God for God is love" 
1 John 4:7,8.

Agape love is the very essence of Gods being. Thus, it is also the eternal moral law by which he rules entire creation. God’s law of love is his supreme unchangeable law from eternity past. Why is this? God is the creator of all things and therefore He is above all things. As the creator, he has the right to not only to construct the hardware of His creation but to determine its operating systems, and set its parameters the rules by which it operates. Whatever God creates reflects who He is – His creation expresses his heart and mind and reveals His character. Since agape love is His very essence there is nothing greater than agape. Therefore, nothing can surpass the absolute supremacy of God’s law of agape love. God imbued all his creatures with the ability to live eternally – but it is only possible when we understand and accept this love. Taken from GOT p.7
